The DEIKIN RACING crew, represented by pilot Maksim Deikin, won the podium of the ABU DHABI BAJA CHALLENGE (ADBC) international rally raid, taking first place in the OVERALL and second in the category. DEIKIN RACING boldly broke into the rally sport, demonstrating a high level of aerobatics and navigation skills. From series to series, pilot Maksim Deikin tested himself and his equipment with components from DEIKIN RACING's own production.
The ADBC final was unique for DEIKIN RACING, as Kirill Izotov, the team's co-driver, took the lead and decided to try his hand at the wheel. Thus, two DEIKIN RACING crews were represented at the Emirates baha. Kirill Izotov successfully overcame the entire track and finished. Moreover, he provided assistance to another team that turned over. "It's an incredible experience for me. A week of training with Maksim gave the result. I gained confidence in overcoming dunes, drops, and maneuvering. The brain was being adjusted to a different mode of operation. It was necessary to make navigation decisions at the moment and not lose control in piloting. I've done a decent job of combat techniques by completing a rescue mission! The DEIKIN RACING crew is part of the BIG RED RACING racing team. The race brought together almost a hundred world-renowned athletes on a unique UAE track.
The fourth stage adjusted DEIKIN RACING's performance in the category, as there was a technical hitch on the first lap that prevented Maksim Deikin from overcoming the entire track and taking first place. "The malfunction of the equipment did not escape me at the stage. The shock absorber rod is broken. And this is also an experience that makes us stronger," commented Maksim Deikin.
The performance of DEIKIN RACING in the overall standings at the end of all stages determined Maksim Deikin's OVERALL championship. "For us, this is all training before the main goal – Dakar. We will be there soon!" said Maksim Deikin.
