The crew of #609 DEIKIN RACING – Maksim Deikin and Kirill Izotov – became the winner of the DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BAJA world rally raid, overcoming the difficult challenges of the desert track. It is worth noting that the entire podium of the championship was taken by the crews of the BIG RED RACING team.
The races were held on November 30 (SS1) and December 1 (SS2), the length of the track is 867.30 km.

According to Maksim Deikin, the founder of the company and CEO of DEIKIN, the pilot of DEIKIN RACING, this is the first rally raid race in the crew's career outside of Russia. He also expressed confidence that participation in the first stages of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge series has generated some knowledge and experience in piloting. Before the rally raid, Maksim Deikin completed the Maverick rig with DEIKIN components, installing navigation equipment. Recall that DEIKIN levers are also installed on the Maverick R.

Kirill Izotov, navigator of DEIKIN RACING, stressed that the crew adjusted the pace throughout the route: "The second day was more difficult. Despite the fact that the terrain is the same, and only the direction is changing, the track is still impossible to predict."
The two days of racing took place in the same area, but the route was different. The sections of the route were uneven due to heavy rains. There were "invisible" wadis with sharp descents and ascents on the gravel plains. The nature of the route varied – there were areas with low and bumpy dunes, as well as high dunes with ridge crossings.
